Steps and Requirements for GNA Chapter Creation
Introduction
The GNA Chapter is designed to foster interaction and unity among Nigerians within a community or geographical zone, enabling every Nigerian to actively participate in building a united and prosperous nation. Chapters generate ideas, sponsor petitions on specific issues, and can commend individuals, government agencies, or organizations.
Chapter Types
- Local Chapter (Nigeria Only)
- Created strictly within Nigeria, within local government area councils.
- Multiple Local Chapters can exist within a local government council area in Nigeria.
- State/Region Chapter (Overseas only)
- Exists only in overseas countries.
- Can only be sponsored or formed by residents within the state or region of a country
General Requirements for Chapter Formation
- Eligibility: The primary contact must be a verified member of GNA minimum of Platinum membership level and at least 6 months with GNA.
- Membership Requirement: The minimum number of Nigerians required to form a chapter is 25 in good standing.
- Registration: All membership registrations are conducted online through the GNA global platform, www.greatnigerian.org.
- The Chapter Sponsor will initiate the chapter formation application via the user dashboard
