The GNA Youth Wing was created under the Great Nigeria Assembly (GNA) to empower Nigerian youths between the ages of 18 and 30 towards creating a better Nigeria. The GNA Youth is focused on the social, economic, and political development of Nigeria, and it aims to create a new Nigeria devoid of ethnic, religious, and tribal sentiments.
Activities:
Capacity building and mentorship programs: The GNA Youth will organize training sessions, seminars, workshops, and mentorship programs that will equip members with the necessary skills and knowledge needed to take up leadership roles in the future. The training will cover topics such as leadership, entrepreneurship, innovation, public speaking, personal development, and nation-building.
Advocacy and awareness campaigns: The GNA Youth will engage in advocacy campaigns aimed at raising awareness on critical issues such as social justice, the rule of law, transparency, and accountability. The campaigns will be carried out through various media channels such as social media, radio, and television. Additionally, the GNA Youth will also be responsible for educating their colleagues, parents, and relatives about the need to create a new Nigeria devoid of ethnic, religious, and tribal sentiments.
Community service and volunteerism: The GNA Youth will engage in community service and volunteerism to give back to society. The community service will be centered on addressing social issues such as poverty, illiteracy, healthcare, and environmental degradation. Members will be encouraged to actively participate in community development initiatives and engage with their communities to understand their needs.
Networking and collaboration: The GNA Youth will provide opportunities for members to network and collaborate with each other towards achieving common goals. The platform will create an avenue for members to connect and share ideas, knowledge, and experiences. Members will be encouraged to work together and leverage their strengths to effect positive change in Nigeria.
Research and innovation: The GNA Youth will encourage research and innovation by members towards finding solutions to societal problems. Members will be encouraged to embark on research projects and develop innovative solutions to problems in their communities. The GNA Youth will also create opportunities for members to collaborate on research initiatives, which will be focused on developing solutions to critical social, economic, and political issues in Nigeria.
Long-term vision: The long-term vision of the GNA Youth is to prepare its members for leadership roles in society. The GNA Youth will create a pool of young leaders who will be equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge needed to take up leadership positions in various sectors of the economy. The GNA Youth will also serve as a feeder organization for the GNA mainstream, where members can transition to become full-fledged members of the GNA. The GNA Youth will also be a platform for grooming future political leaders who will lead Nigeria to the next level of development. Ultimately, the GNA Youth aims to create a new Nigeria that is unified, prosperous, and equitable for all.
