GNA CHAPTER

The GNA Chapter is created to foster interaction and unity among Nigerians within a community or geographical zone. It enables every Nigerian within the chapter to actively participate in building a united and prosperous nation. The chapter generates ideas and can sponsor petitions on specific issues affecting communities, states, or the nation as a whole. Both chapters and individuals within chapters can raise commendations for individuals, government agencies, or organizations.

Every member of GNA is expected to belong to a chapter. Upon registration, the member is typically assigned to the National Chapter of their country of residence. However, members can freely switch to another chapter closer to them without any restrictions or penalties.

A chapter consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Membership Officer, Public Relations Officer, Treasurer, Legal Officer, and Welfare Officer, depending on the chapter's size. It is the chapter's responsibility to ensure the welfare of its members and escalate urgent issues to the State, or Country level for appropriate action.

The national rebuilding process requires innovative ideas and opinions that will assist Nigeria in its progress.

How To Start A Chapter?

Any registered member of GNA can initiate the formation of a chapter within a community, or state. However, the approval of a chapter is contingent upon several factors, including the minimum number of Nigerians required to establish a chapter, which varies from country to country. Additionally, members are expected to pay annual membership fees, the amount of which also varies by country.

Please note the following:

1.) The primary contact must be a verified member of GNA.

2.) Determine the minimum number of Nigerians required to form a chapter in your country of residence and the corresponding annual membership fees. All membership registrations are conducted online through the GNA global platform, www.greatnigerian.org.

3.) To initiate a chapter, a minimum of four (4) officers are required, including the President, Secretary, Membership Officer, and Treasurer. Additional officers such as Vice-President, Public Relations Officer, Welfare Officer, and Legal Officer may be included later. Depending on the chapter's size, there may also be Boards of Directors, Boards of Advisors, and Bye-laws.

4.) GNA chapters can be established anywhere in the world, but typically not within the same locality. Applications to start a chapter are typically processed within three (3) weeks.

5.) An approved chapter will be listed on the global platform, along with a link to the dedicated website created for that chapter.

6.) The chapter's level is determined by the GNA project support category, including basic, bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and diamond chapter categories.

7.) Chapter promoters can purchase membership vouchers in bulk through their user dashboard.

8.) To begin the chapter application process, log into your user dashboard and click on the "Start A Chapter" link.
